💾 How do I backup my data?

Go to Settings > Backup & Restore. Tap "Create Backup". This generates a full ZIP file containing your database and images.

Important: Save this ZIP file to a safe place (Google Drive, Dropbox, or your PC). Since we don't have cloud servers, this is your only way to recover data if you lose your phone.

� How do I restore a backup?

Re-install the app, go to Settings > Backup & Restore, and tap "Restore Backup". Select the ZIP file you previously created. The app will restart with all your data restored.

📱 Can I sync across multiple devices?

Currently, WorkScribe is designed as a standalone offline app. To move data between devices, you must manually Transfer the backup ZIP file.

� How do I export my work logs?

Go to Settings > Export Data. You have two options:
PDF: Great for sending reports to clients or managers.
CSV: Great for importing into Excel or Google Sheets for custom analysis.

📝 What text formatting is supported?

We support standard Markdown! You can make text **bold**, *italic*, or create lists using bullets (-). The editor toolbar also provides quick buttons for these actions.

🌗 Does it have Dark Mode?

Yes! WorkScribe follows your system theme by default, but you can force Light or Dark mode in Settings > Appearance.

🔒 App Lock isn't working

WorkScribe relies on your phone's system security. If your fingerprint or face unlock isn't working in the app, please try deleting and re-registering your biometrics in your Android Phone Settings.
