Welcome to WorkScribe ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using WorkScribe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
WorkScribe is a productivity and journaling application that helps you track work entries, manage tasks, organize projects, and collaborate with team members.
By accessing or using WorkScribe, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
WorkScribe provides the following features:
To use cloud sync and collaboration features, you may sign in with your Google account. By doing so, you grant WorkScribe permission to access your Google Drive for the purpose of storing and synchronizing your app data.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. WorkScribe is not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.
All your data is primarily stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of all content you create in WorkScribe, including entries, tasks, projects, and media.
If you choose to enable Google Drive sync, your data will be stored in your personal Google Drive account in an app-specific folder. WorkScribe does not have access to your data outside of your active session.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While WorkScribe provides export and sync features, we are not responsible for any data loss.

WorkScribe integrates with Google Drive and Google Maps. Your use of these services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:
WorkScribe is not responsible for any issues, data loss, or service interruptions caused by third-party services including Google Drive and Google Maps.
WorkScribe, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the content you create in WorkScribe. By using the App, you do not grant us any rights to your content beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
WorkScribe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WorkScribe and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
You may stop using WorkScribe at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. You may also revoke the App's access to your Google Drive through your Google account settings.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Data stored locally on your device will remain until you delete it. Data stored in your Google Drive will remain in your account.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of WorkScribe after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WorkScribe regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
